It has been a little while since my last post; how quickly time seems to fly when you have so many committments to fulfill.
Our trip to Perth saw my daughter choose some lovely Amy Butler fabric for Mum to make her something with. So the plan for this weekend is to start sewing.
I was also inspired by this fabric below to make something else. I know what they are soon to become. See if you can guess!
Stay tuned to see what they will be transformed into.
Here’s hoping you have a lovely weekend creating, wherever you may be!
Thought you may like to see some photo’s from my recent trip to Perth. It is such a lovely city.
They were celebrating the Wildflower Festival in Kings Park and these are some of the magnificent native flowers we have in Australia.
There were such diverse colours everywhere.
We also have some magnificent natural features and birdlife.
This is a picture of Wave Rock and a beautfiul Splendid Fairy Wren. How beautiful are his colours! Unfortunately the females aren’t as pretty and are usually brown in colour.
On our trip back from Wave Rock we drove along the “Tin Horse Highway”. The Aussie larrikins reputation was definately on show along here. This is one of many funny architectural structures!
What a wonderful and inspirational trip! Can’t wait for our next holiday venture. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
These are the mystery gifts awarded for our 5th Birthday!
